S-04 · Brand & identity

Look like the company they should have called first.

A brand isn't a logo. It's the reason the same customer trusts your truck, your invoice, your Google listing and your website as one business. Our small business branding covers the logo design, the colors and the type, then writes down the visual identity rules, so every future print shop, sign maker and web page gets it right without you.

SHT-S4.1What it isScale: consistent everywhereRev A

Identity is the set of decisions you never have to make again.

Which blue. Which font. How much space around the logo. What the mark looks like at the size of a favicon and on the side of a trailer. A finished identity answers all of it once, in files that work anywhere: the sign shop's plotter, the embroiderer's machine, Facebook's profile circle, your website's header.

01

The mark

A logo designed for where it will actually live — readable on a phone screen, a hat and a 30-foot sign — with horizontal, stacked and icon-only versions.

02

Color & typography

A palette with print (CMYK, Pantone) and screen (hex) values, plus type choices that are free to use on the web and available for print — no licensing surprises later.

03

The rules

A short brand guide: spacing, minimum sizes, what not to do, how it sits on dark and light backgrounds. The document you hand to anyone who touches your brand.

04

The files

SVG, PDF, PNG and EPS in every version, sized for every use: business cards, truck door, yard sign, embroidery, favicon, social profiles, email signature. Organized, named, yours.

Field note — S/04Because we also build the website, the brand is designed with the site in mind — the same mark, colors and type carry straight into the code. No re-interpretation by a second vendor.

SHT-S4.2How it worksScale: three roundsRev A

Direction first, then the drawing.

Good logos come from a clear brief, not from a hundred random concepts. The process is short and deliberate:

01

Brief

Who you sell to, who you compete with, what you want people to feel, where the mark will live. We look at the competitors around you so you don't end up in the same blue as three of them.

02

Directions

Two or three distinct directions, each shown in real contexts — a truck, a card, a phone screen — not floating on white. You pick one.

03

Refinement

Two rounds of changes on the chosen direction, then color and type are locked and the guide is written.

04

Delivery

All files, all formats, the guide, and we'll talk directly to your sign shop or printer if they need something specific.

TimingA logo takes about two weeks. A full identity system, three to four. A refresh of an existing mark, about a week.

Pricing

Three sizes, fixed prices.

Every option includes the full file set and unlimited use — the mark is yours outright on final payment.

Brand questions

How many concepts do I get?

Two or three real directions, each thought through and shown in context — instead of twenty thumbnails that all say the same thing. If none lands, we go back to the brief at no charge.

Do I own the logo?

Completely, on final payment. All rights, all files, no ongoing license.

Can you match what my competitors do — or avoid it?

Avoiding it is the point. Part of the brief is a look at the businesses around you, so yours reads as its own thing at a glance.

Will it work on embroidery and signs?

Yes — that's why the mark is designed with a one-color version and minimum sizes, and why we'll talk to your embroiderer or sign shop directly if they need a specific format.
